Vic the Happy White Lion

Victor was rescued from the discontinued Tygerberg Zoo in Cape Town. He now lives at the Drakenstein Lion Park, Paarl in a large field of golden grass and trees. He has healthy white hair and a cute curious nose. What I like about this Lion Park is that they don’t permit canned hunting and that people are not allowed to touch the animals at all. Beauties like Vic have chance at a wilder life inspite of previous human interference.

White Lions are technically extinct in the wild, and are being slaughtered at every side. I love that Lions hum and mmmmm to each other and blow air onto each other when they greet. Who’ve thought!

Note: Lion’s born captivity cannot return to the wild, as they would not know how to fend for themselves.
