the Himalayan Monal called Millicent

Himalayan Monals like Millicent love eating seeds, shoots, tubers and berries with their spiky sharp beaks. When they are having a bad day they can talk up a storm with all sorts of whistles, notes and beeps. They thrive at ridiculous heights – up to 4350 m above sea-level and she lays three to five eggs in a nest no fancier than a scrape on the ground. So thankful!
